Advanced FORAN-PLM integration in a naval shipbuilding environment

SENER has developed an advanced architecture for the FORAN – PLM integration, to be used in a naval shipbuilding environment. It intends to comply with the most demanding requirements of the military shipyards as well as to maintain the efficiency, the scalability and the performance of the shipbuilding CAD tool.
New tool for solid modeling of pipelines in FORAN

In V70r1.0, Machinery and Outfitting subsystem of FORAN counts with a new tool for routing of pipes, ducts and cable trays in solid model, that significantly increases the efficiency of the design comparing with routing commands available up to now.
FORAN V70, launched by SENER in November, represents a new generation of CAD/CAM/CAE Systems for the design and production of ships and off-shore platforms. With innovative tools and improvements and developments in all its areas, FORAN V70 is the best solution to achieve the major challenge of reducing time and costs in a complex and global environment.
FVIEWER, the new approach to 3D virtual review

FVIEWER is the new Virtual Reality module developed by SENER to replace the predecessor VISUAL 3D, with the aim of obtaining continuous improvements in design and manufacturing phases. FVIEWER is fully integrated in the FORAN environment, and is included in new version V70.
Origins of FORAN are the same that SENER ones, the company that conceived the System and develops, supports, improves and markets it for almost a half century.
