Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has issued the Approval Certificate for FORAN naval architectural calculations.

This approval is valid for conventional (monohull) and non-conventional (twin skegs, floating docks, catamarans, trimarans and asymmetric hulls) ship forms.

Among a big list, hydrostatics characteristics, cross curves of stability floodable lengths, grain, intact stability, damage stability (deterministic and IMP Res.265 probabilistic assessment), freeboard and longitudinal strength calculations can be highlighted as being included in the approval.

RMRS was founded in 1913, and from 1969 is a member of the International Association of Classification Societies. Nowadays, more than 80% of the ships built within the last five years and flying Russian flag are classified by RMRS.
